Information about the concerts and rehearsal on Saturday 25th November 2023:


St Monica Trust, Cote Lane, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol BS9 3UN.

There is car parking available in a couple of small car parks and on the access roads once you have turned into the complex.

Setting up: 1.00pm

Please can we have plenty of help to sort out chairs, stands etc. and bring the timps and conductor's podium into the hall. Thank you.

Rehearsal 1:30 – 3.30pm

Sat down and ready to play at 1:30pm please; we will be finished by 3:30pm.

The children will be arriving at 3:00 for a 3:15 – 3:30 sing.

Break 3:30 – 4:00pm

Children's concert audience allowed in.

Children's Concert 4:00 – 5:00pm

Break 5:00 – 7:00pm

If you intend to stay at St Monica's until the concert, don't forget your packed tea.

Music Stands and lighting

If you have a black or silver stand, that would be preferred. If you have a spare black or silver stand, please could you bring it along to lend anyone without.

The lighting at St Monica's can be varied depending on where you sit, so if you have one, bring a music stand light.

Concert Dress

Ladies: Floor length black dress/skirt/trousers, black top, black tights/shoes.

Gents: Black shirt, trousers and shoes

Concert: 7.30pm (doors open at 7:00pm)

Please don't sit down more than 5 minutes before the start unless you have specific things to sort avoids embarrassing silences! 


There will be refreshments during the interval provided by the excellent Roger and his helpers.


Please return all music at the end of the concert: stack parts into separate piles (one for each piece)

Deps can return the folders.

Tickets are available from the Bristol Millennium Orchestra website. Please encourage family and friends to come!

Monday 27th November – NO REHEARSAL. There will be rehearsals on the 4th and 11th December.
