Saturday 9th December - Children's Concert at Bradbury Hall, Henleaze

Programme:

  • Sleigh Ride (3 mins)
  • Troika (3 mins)
  • Instrumental solos (leaders of sections, please prepare 10-15 seconds worth of something famous written for your instrument) (5 mins)
  • Radetzky March (3 mins)
  • Seventeen Come Sunday (English Folk Song Suite mvmt 1) (4 mins)
  • Nimrod (4 mins)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean (7 mins)
  • White Christmas (3 mins)
  • The Snowman (with Roland Kitchen (Narrator) & St Bonaventure's School Choir) (26 mins)

Timings:

  • 2:30pm orchestra rehearsal
  • 3:10pm choir arrives and gets seated on the stage (quietly!) to rehearse “Walking in the Air”
  • 3:30pm end or rehearsal
  • 3:40pm doors open
  • 4pm Concert – no interval
  • c.5pm end

    • £17.50 for family ticket (4 tickets)

Music Stands:

  • If possible, please bring a black or silver stand.
    • if you have a spare black/silver stand, please bring it along to lend to others.
  • If you have music stand lights, we suggest you bring them, the light is not always good.

Concert Dress: (See Concert Etiquette Article) 

  • Ladies - Long black dress/skirt/trousers with black tights and shoes and jewel coloured top
  • Gents - Black DJ and tie, white shirt, black socks and shoes
